Employee View: Schedule Grid

The Schedule grid is used to create, edit, and assign schedules to Hourly Non-Exempt Employees. These schedules include the Start Times and End Times of Work Shifts/Work Periods as well as non-working hours such as sick, vacation, and personal time. This pane is always read-only for an employee and editable for non-read-only employees of a Supervisor. Schedules help enforce rounding rules and exceptions.

Attribute Description
Use Defaults A flag to remove the temporary schedule and re-retrieve the default schedule from the Work Shift/Work Period or the rotating pattern.
Off Day When flagged, indicates that this is a work day or a day off (as configured in Rotating Work Schedule Details).
Pay Day The computed Payday for the schedule. This is usually the same as the Day column. However, for a Third Shift Employee, the Payday will be the date following the day when the "Third shift prior to payroll day" check box is checked in the configuration for Pay Rules.
Day The date of the Start Time. The Day may be different than the computed Pay Day when the Shift/Work Period crosses midnight (as in, for Third Shift Employees).
Earn Code The Earn Code to be used for this schedule.
Shift Period The Work Shift/Work Period being scheduled, which will retrieve the initial Start Time and End Time (these times can be modified).
Start Time The start time for the schedule. This may be edited independently of the Shift Period.
End Time The end time for the schedule. This may be edited independently of the Shift Period.
First Meal Start Time The start time for the First Meal Break for this schedule. This may be edited independently of the Shift Period..
First Meal End Time The end time for the First Meal Break for this schedule. This may be edited independently of the Shift Period.
Second Meal Start Time The start time for the Second Meal Break for this schedule. This may be edited independently of the Shift Period.
Second Meal End Time The end time for the Second Meal Break for this schedule. This may be edited independently of the Shift Period.
Scheduled Hours The duration of a schedule if a Start Time and End Time are not allowed for that Earn Code (usually for non-regular Earn Codes such as HOL).
Earn Code Description The description of the Earn Code.

Before Add On An attribute that gets carried down to the attendance record indicating a Work Add On after Overtime. An example would be to add $2 per Overtime hour to the pay (calculated external to Time Manager).
After Add On 1 An attribute that gets carried down to the attendance record indicating a Work Add On after Overtime. An example would be to add $2 per Overtime hour to the pay (calculated external to Time Manager).
After Add On 2 An attribute that gets carried down to the attendance record indicating a Work Add On after Overtime. An example would be to add $2 per Overtime hour to the pay (calculated external to Time Manager).
Work Center The Work Center with which this row is associated.
Department The Department with which this row is associated.
Facility The Facility with which this row is associated.
