Package Properties Window
It provides detailed information about a
package and the Actions performed on it during its existence. It also
enables viewing a package contents and history.
The window consists
of the following tabs (tabs visibility depends on package status):
- General tab presents the following
properties:
- Project name, Project revision, Project
version – properties of the Project the Package was generated
from (see Project
Properties).
- Build number – build
number is incremented by 1 with each successful generation of
a package.
- Date Package generated
– the exact date/time when the Package came into existence through
Generate Action (on any server).
- Package generation server
– server on which the package was generated.
- Package generation method – the
method used to generate the Package (Latest Changes, All Changes, Everything
or From Selection).
- Package generated by
-- the user initiating the Generate Action.
- Package size (KB) –
size of the package
- Package FUID – the
Package's unique identifier.
- Contains project definition
– information if the Package includes Project contents' details.
- Generation comment
– comment added to the package during Generate Action
- Case tracking reference
– optional reference to a case tracking system.
- Date Package paced in repository
– the exact date/time when the Package appeared in the local repository
(by any Action).
- Placed by action –
the Action that caused the Package to appear in the local repository.
- Received from – the
source location from which the Package was received, loaded or
generated.
- Invalid Package File
– Indicates whether the package file is invalid or not.
- Contentor Modules tab lists items
that a Package is composed of. The same items as in the Contents tab
on the Project
Properties Window are displayed (for the Project the Package was
based on just before the generation), but it is not possible to modify
the list as all Package properties and contents are permanent.
You can copy a Package's list of contents
as text by selecting one or more items and choosing Copy
Content as Text from the context menu. See the example below:
In the case of Process Builder
Projects, the Content tab is replaced with the Modules tab listing all
Modules in the Project, along with information about whether a Module's
Package has been generated successfully or not. If you generate a Package
(everything, latest changes, all changes, or from selection) from only one Module, the
remaining Modules will be marked as ignored.
Packages are not generated for Modules in which there have been no changes.
For more information about PB Projects, see Process Builder Help.
- Actions History tab
lists all actions that were performed on this package - for more information
see Actions History Tab.
- Deployment Options
tab lists options identical to those in Deployment
Options Window
- Generation Versions
tab provides information about GPM, database or DELMIA Apriso versions
that a package was generated on.
- PackageDependencies
tab displays package dependencies for the selected package and also
allows to add dependencies by dragging and dropping packages from
the list on the right to the window on the left. To learn more, see
Package Dependencies topic.
- Referencing Packages
tab displays list of packages that have the selected package defined
as a dependency.
