The Summary grid provides a list of all of the employees from the selected node (group or employee). For example, if a Department node is selected in the Resource Explorer, the Summary grid will list one row for each employee in the Department to which the Supervisor is linked.
Clicking Approve (in the right corner above the grid) approves the selected records.
Clicking Select All (in the right corner above the grid) selects all the entities in the list, which can be useful for approval and group scheduling.
The grid shows summary and exception information for each employee:

| Select | A check box that enables selecting a row. Row selection is used for group scheduling and approval. |
| Employee Name | The name of the employee. |
| Employee No | The number of the employee. |
| Total | The total attendance hours being reported against the selected Pay Period. |
| Scheduled | The total scheduled hours for the selected Pay Period. |
| Regular | The total Regular attendance hours being reported against the Pay Period. |
| Overtime | The total Overtime attendance hours being reported against the Pay Period. |
| Double Time | The total Double Time attendance hours being reported against the Pay Period. |
| Labor Total | The total labor hours being reported against the selected Pay Period. |
| Early Clock In | Marks when the first adjusted Start Time for the Payday is before the first scheduled begin work time. |
| Late Clock In | Marks when the first adjusted Start Time for the Payday is after the first scheduled begin work time. |
| Early Clock Out | Marks when the last adjusted Stop Time for the Payday is before the last scheduled end work time. |
| Late Clock Out | Marks when the last adjusted Stop Time for the Payday is after the last scheduled end work time. |
| Missing Clock Out | Marks when an attendance record exists for a Payday without an actual Stop Time and the current time is past the scheduled Stop Time. |
| Long Break | Marks when an employee has performed Start and Stop Break transactions with a break duration that exceeds the defined break duration. |
| Long Meal | Marks when an employee has performed Start and Stop Break transactions with a meal duration that exceeds the defined meal duration. |
| Short Break | Marks when the employee took a Work Break shorter than the Minimum Duration. This applies to the 1st Break and 2nd Break types. For details on the Work Period Break Minimum Duration setting, see Work Period Breaks. |
| Short Meal | Marks when the employee took a meal shorter than the Minimum Duration. This applies to the 1st Meal and 2nd Meal types. For details on the Work Period Break Minimum Duration setting, see Work Period Breaks. |
| Short Daily Hours | Marks when the total attendance hours reported for the day, minus breaks, is less than scheduled. |
| Long Daily Hours | Marks when the total attendance hours reported for the day, minus breaks, exceeds the schedule. |
| Worked Unscheduled Day | Marks when an attendance record exists but the employee was not scheduled to work. |
| Unexcused Absence | Marks when an attendance record is missing for a scheduled workday. |
| Missing Sign Off | Marks when an attendance record has not been signed off on. |
| Missing Approval | Marks when an attendance record is missing supervisor approval. |
| Negative Accrual Balance | Marks when there is a negative sum of accrual hours. |
| Temporary Badge | Marks when the employee has a temporary badge. |
| Short Weekly Hours | Marks when the employee's weekly hours are less than their scheduled hours. |
| Long Weekly Hours | Marks when the employee's weekly hours are more than their scheduled hours. |
| Attendance Does Not Match Labor | Marks that within the Pay Period an attendance reported for a day does not match the labor reported for that day by the Regular, Overtime, and Double Time hours categories. |
