Employee View: Breaks Grid

Breaks can only be defined for Hourly Non-Exempt Employees.

Attribute Description
Signed off/approved This column has a if the record is signed off on and a if the record is approved. If the record has neither of these statuses, this column remains blank.
Type Defines the break type:
  • 1st Break
  • 2nd Break
  • 3rd Break
  • 1st Meal
  • 2nd Meal
A break type will only be available if it matches the selected attendance's Work Period Breaks and if the selected attendance's Payday is within the Work Shift Break's Effective and Discontinue Dates. For more information, see Work Breaks as well as Work Shifts Properties.
Start Time The start time of the break taken.
End Time The end time of the break taken.
Adjusted Start Time/Actual Start Time The name of the column changes based on the EditAdjustedTimes setting in Central Configuration Documentation. The default setting displays the adjusted start time for this break row.
Adjusted End Time/Actual End Time The name of the column changes based on the EditAdjustedTimes setting in Central Configuration Documentation. The default setting displays the adjusted end time for this break row.
Elapsed Time The elapsed time of the break taken. Can be used to override (or even instead of) the Start Time or End Time.
Calculation Overridden This flag specifies that you intend to override the system computations for this row.
