Transporting Logic

The basic operational unit in Global Process Manager is called the Project (see Project), which acts as a table of contents gathered for transporting purposes. The transporting unit used by Global Process Manager is called the Package (a single binary file), which is created based on an existing Project.

Packages can be handled with three different actions:

• Save (locally or on the server)
• Send (to a different remote Global Process Manager instance)
• Send - Deploy (on one of the Registered Servers Global Process Manager is connected to)
• Deploy(on one of the Registered Servers Global Process Manager is connected to)

There are three options for how a Package can come into existence during a Global Process Manager instance:

• Load (from a file previously saved locally)
• Receive (from a remote DELMIA Apriso Global Process Manager instance)
• Generate (based on a previously created Project)
