Global Deployment View, available from the Console Tree under Primary Server (see section How to Configure a Primary Environment), gives the ability to globally monitor and analyze the status of the deployment per plant, per region, etc. It is a set of dashboard screens presenting status of deployment and the mechanisms for aggregating data in one central location.
Global Deployment View uses message queues to send notifications (Package deployment, destination Server manipulation) to Primary Server. In case of Primary Server unavailability, messages will be hold for 6 days before invalid state. Invalid messages will be dropped. Global Deployment View uses real-time remoting when changing configuration settings for Monitored environments.
