Employee View: Accruals Grid

If you use employee accruals software, you can display accrual information to your employees and Supervisors in order to track non-worked hours such as sick, vacation, and personal time. The system calculates employees' accrual balances (how much time employees have available as imported from an HR application and how many hours were reported in open Pay Periods).

Attribute Description
Accrual Code Generally an Earn Code for the hours an employee accrues. Such Earn Codes might be:
  • SICK
  • VACATION
Accrual The total hours as imported from the HR package.
Accrual Taken The total hours taken as imported from the HR package.
Taken Open Periods The total hours computed in Time Manager against open Pay Periods.
Current Balance The Accrual column minus the Accrual Taken column minus the Taken Open Periods column.
Balance Type Only the Hours type is supported.
