Start (Restart) Disposition Test

The Start (Restart) Disposition Test action is available when the Disposition Test is in the appropriate status for the transition to be performed (according to the status transition diagram shown in Disposition Test Actions). When selected, it calls the Start Disposition Test Business Component method, which:

• Validates if the parent Disposition Line is already started and, if not, it attempts to perform a status change to Started
• If the change is not possible, an error message is returned and the action is cancelled
• Updates the Actual Start date/time (information available for the Disposition Test Detailed Data :: Details tab) of the Disposition Test if the Disposition Test status is being changed from Released (i.e., the test is started for the first time)
• Sets the current Disposition Test status to Started
• Sets the Disposition Test User Status according to the rules described in Disposition Test Detailed Data :: General
