Quality Gate

Quality Gates represent stages of a Process or material flow wherein the Quality Inspection is performed and makes it possible to identify where a failure occurred in terms of the Process stage. In a production process, these often occur before a stage that depends strongly on the previous stage, thus making it possible to perform a check prior to the start of the next production phase. A Quality Gate acts as a Process-end phase for a stage of the Process and as the gate from which the Process moves to the next stage. The Quality Gate Sequence Number must be a positive integer value, which can be assigned with use of the Quality Gate Sequence Editor.
