Change the Disposition Status

To change the Disposition status:

1. Select the Disposition for which you want to change the status from the list of available ones in the Disposition Browser and click (Properties) (or double-click its row) to display its details in the editor view. The Disposition current status is visible on the Disposition Inspection Browser Tree as the last part of its name and in the Status field (in the General tab) when the root node is selected on the tree.

2. Right-click the Disposition node of the tree and select the appropriate status change command (e.g., "Release Disposition"). Refer to the diagram from the Disposition Actions topic to learn more about possible status transitions, and see the Status field description in Disposition Detailed Data :: General for more information on Disposition status.

If the conditions for the transition are met, the Disposition will have its status changed. Please note that the status transition for the Disposition may also require an appropriate status for the Disposition Lines. Additionally, the Disposition status change will propagate to all of the open lines and tests.
