Description

Count Progress enables monitoring the progress of the counting process. The Count Progress browser displays the Count Disposition Lines for which the counting process has started, and makes it possible to see the discrepancy between the quantity present in the system and the counted quantity.

The Count Progress screen can be navigated to in the DELMIA Apriso Desktop Client.

Actions

The following actions can be performed on the Count Procedures browser screen:

Icon Action Type Description
Hold Location Used to hold the Warehouse Location in which the counting is executed. In order to hold a location, the Hold Reason Code must be defined for a given Warehouse Location. This option can, for example, be used when the counting progress is checked on the Count Progress screen and large discrepancies occur, which may suggest that inventory is being delivered or picked from the location while the counting is being executed.
Deactivate Record Used to deactivate a Count Progress record. This option can, for example, be used when the Count Disposition is recounted a few times because the previous count results were not satisfactory. Each recount generates a new Count Progress record; therefore, the records with the wrong results can be deactivated. The Standard Operation responsible for this action is ClosedAPR_WH_IC.CountRecord_Approve.

Many actions and screens available for Inventory II Count are realized by Standard Operations and can be customized using Process Builder. For more information on default Standard Operations that can be used and/or modified, please refer to Inventory Count Implementation Guide.

Approve Record Used to approve a Count Progress record. An example usage is similar to the one given in Deactivate Record above, but in this case, the Count Progress record that is correct is approved, and all of the remaining records are automatically deactivated.
