Global Process Manager is a DELMIA Apriso module that enables transferring DELMIA Apriso entities "out-of-the-box". The module, created to replace Process Data Connector (PDC), transfers not only known DELMIA Apriso entities, but also other known item types.
The usage and maintenance of the application is both easy and intuitive, allowing for the execution of simple transferring actions that suitably model the most common scenarios without performing any advanced configuration. Data transfers in Global Process Manager can be performed by a person with basic technical skills and knowledge. Transfers can be run as scheduled tasks with full result logging, even greater reducing the maintenance effort for the administrator.
During the development of Global Process Manager, great emphasis was also placed on its performance, which led to the creation of two optimization modes:
Global Process Manager is designed to run on a multi-server environment and support different network architectures (permanent connections as well as on-demand)
Data consistency for transfer purposes is ensured for all storage types used (binary package with exported data, relational database, file system, and GAC). Transfers themselves are performed on two distinct sets of data – run-time and design-time – to ensure that items are transferable in each of their development stages.
