Source Repositories Overview

It is possible to store items in the SubVersion versioning system (refer to SubVersion website for details). Items are committed to the Source Repository when a Deployment Package is generated.

The View Pane displays a list of Source Repositories with their properties: Name, Description, Address, and Status (for details, see Source Repository Properties).

All items can be versioned, except for Dynamic Entities. There are two methods of storing items in the repository:

There can be many source repositories defined on one server (Source Repositories node in the Console Tree). For details on how to add, delete and edit properties of Source Repositories, see Source Repository Right-Click Menu.

Default GPM Repository

GPM automatically creates a repository on each server it is connected to. This repository can be used if no other repositories are defined. Its address cannot be changed on the properties window. The default location of this repository can be defined with the use of the DataPath key. This key is optional and must be added manually to the "DeploymentServices" section of the Central Configuration file. It defines the location where the data files for Global Process Manager are stored.
