Overview

The DELMIA Apriso Config Updater tool consists of:

• Apriso.ConfigUpdaterConsole.exe – the executable file that updates the configuration files
• This is executed from the command lines
• ConfigUpdater.xml – the XML file where all the changes are specified
• The name of this file can be freely chosen, but it is important to note that the structure of this file must be exactly the same as is written in the XML File section
• For the purposes of this Help, we will use the name ConfigUpdater.xml

The execution is done by running the Apriso.ConfigUpdaterConsole.exe file from the Tools directory.

The ConfigUpdater.xml file is the input for this tool.

If the name of the XML file is different than ConfigUpdater.xml, please use that name instead of ConfigUpdater.xml in the command line as a parameter of the EXE file.

Command Line Usage

The instruction:

Apriso.ConfigUpdaterConsole.exe /ConfigFile: "ConfigUpdater.xml"

The result is that the system updates the DELMIA Apriso configuration files specified in the ConfigUpdater.xml file.

If the ConfigUpdater.xml file is not in the same directory as the Apriso.ConfigUpdaterConsole.exe file, the ConfigFile parameter should contain the correct path to the XML file.
